International Rangelands Congress

The aim of the International Rangeland Congress is to promote the interchange of scientific and technical information on all aspects of rangelands: research, planning, development, management, extension, education and training.

The theme of this year's Congress is "The Future Management of Grazing and Wild Lands in a High-Tech World". Over 500 papers from authors representing nearly 60 countries have been submitted for consideration as an oral or poster presentation in one of 31 sub-theme areas.

Society for Range Management

The Society for Range Management is the professional scientific society and conservation organization whose members are concerned with studying, conserving, managing and sustaining the varied resources of the rangelands which comprise nearly half the land in the world. Established in 1948, SRM has over 4,000 members in 48 countries, including many developing nations.
