Australian Rangeland Society
What's On

What's on

The main meeting of the Society is the Biennial Conference. This is held in outback towns, each time in a different State of Australia. In 2008 the Conference was in Charters Towers, Queensland and in 2010 it will be in Bourke, New South Wales.

Other similar societies in other countries hold national conferences open to anyone interested.

Every three years an International Rangeland Congress is organised. In 2008 the IRC was held in China and in 2011 this will be held in Argentina.

Research and Development activities in the rangelands are also included on this page for your information and sometimes involvement.

Details of meetings, R&D and links to other related activities are provided in the menu on the left.
