Matt Fletcher

Matthew Fletcher has spent the past 19 years working across the Kimberley and Pilbara regions of Western Australia, focusing on rangeland monitoring and management. His work has included establishing and reassessing pastoral monitoring sites, evaluating and reporting on land condition, estimating lease and paddock carrying capacities, and identifying plants and pasture types. He also collaborates closely with the Kimberley Pilbara Cattlemen’s Association to enhance collective understanding of spinifex pastures and their management. Matthew has a strong interest in soils, vegetation, and livestock.
He has been a member of the Australian Rangeland Society since 2007 and has served on the Council since 2019.
