The 22nd Biennial Australian Rangeland Society Conference was held in Broome almost a year ago and brought brought together rangeland professionals, pastoralists, Indigenous land managers, researchers, and enthusiasts from across the nation. The event provided a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and discussions on critical issues in rangeland use and management.

With an overarching theme of Action Stations, topics covered included ;coming to grips with carbon, green energy and natural capital’, ‘science, satellites and success’, ‘resilience in a land of drought and flooding rains, ‘Traditional Owner aspirations and knowledge’, ‘where/what is the cutting edge technology’ and ‘passing the baton to the next generation.
