Royal Australian Mint Helps Celebrate The IYRP
August 12, 2026In 2026, the world marks the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists (IYRP). This event helps foster understanding of our diverse rangelands and highlights the communities and businesses that thrive there.
To help celebrate the IYRP in Australia, the Royal Australian Mint has produced two coins entitled “Heart and Soul of Australia” which are now available for purchase. A 2026 $1 Uncirculated Coin is available as a presentation card while a 2026 $1 Silver Proof Coin is available in a presentation box. The original artwork on both the card and the box is by Elyssa Waterford.
