Harriet is a communications professional with expertise in agriculture, regional development and sustainability.
She has over ten years’ experience in RDCs in project management, communications and extension/adoption roles, including as a Group Manager for Strategic Communications and as a Project Manager at Meat & Livestock Australia, and as the Regional Communications Advisor for Dairy Australia. She is now a Senior Account Director with Dentsu Creative’s specialist Agribusiness & Sustainability team.
One of her career highlights was the opportunity she had at MLA to travel throughout much of Australia’s incredible rangelands – working with land managers from the Flinders Ranges to the Pilbara and to the Queensland Outback.
Harriet has an in-depth knowledge of rural industries and regions, and strong industry networks, having grown up around agriculture and spent her career in bush reserves and farm paddocks. She has a fondness for hiking and has been known to enlist colleagues on all sorts of adventures during her travels.
She is looking forward to contributing to the ARS by helping to increase the profile of the people, communities and landscapes of the Australian rangelands across social media channels.
